Solar Keymark Awarded to Solartwin

Solar Keymark, Europe’s highest solar panel accreditation has just been awarded to Solartwin’s innovative solar panels.

“Europe’s solar thermal consumers can have confidence that Solartwin’s zero carbon solar heating technology is not just one of the most extensively tested and accredited forms of solar heating technology available in Europe, but also one of the most sustainable solutions as well.” commented Barry Johnston of Solar Twin Ltd.

Competition constraints against solar thermal innovations including Solartwin’s award winning solar water heating panels by British and German commercial interests are overdue to be cleared away” said Barry Johnston “because the double standards which have been plaguing the solar water heating market for years have finally been rumbled. Now that a genuinely level playing field may soon be on the way, the European solar thermal market could change dramatically.

“In the past, solar equivalents of the low energy lightbulb have been deliberately unplugged by established interests. Now we are hopeful that in future, it will not just be insiders to the solar industry’s standard setting and reviewing processes, who will be able to introduce renewable energy innovation, but all of us. A range of potentially superior solar panel innovations, ones, which been sidelined for years by outdated regulatory processes, can now enter the European solar heating market. And this will help European consumers to save the planet.” he added

“At a time of rising interest in saving fuel, and international agreement on cutting carbon emissions, this accreditation news accelerates an expansion plan which Solar Twin Ltd had previously been implementing more gradually. Our change of gear is particularly opportune for UK’s beleagured constrction industry because we are now actively recruiting experienced personnel in the areas of construction project management and technical sales. It won’t mean thousands of jobs just yet as the first wave will start off in single figures” Commented Barry Johnston “but I sincerely hope that we can, at least, make a difference. We seek to recruit the most taleted people in the field.” He concluded.

Solar Twin Ltd may soon be seeking external investment in order to facilitate expansion in EU states beyond it current operations which are UK, Ireland and Portugal.
